Why subscribe?
I read for a great many reasons but mostly because if I’m not constantly feeding my brain, it feeds on me. Idle hands may be the devil’s work shop, but I’m not all that handy, so it’s my brain I like to keep busy. Still, I want to believe I’m not just learning facts or diverting myself, but that reading changes who I am, and adds to my being.
This is the story of what I read and why and what I got from reading it. It starts in 2012 when I bought a tiny notebook with the words “what i read” on the cover and spaces for a book’s title and author and a few lines for notes. This is everything I’ve read since.
What’s happens next?
Every Tuesday and Thursday you’ll get an email from me. If you don’t get one, check your spam folder. That’s it. The email will be the new edition of this newsletter.
Do I have to pay?
Nope. And if I know you personally, I promise to never ask if you’re a reader.
Also, when I get to 4,387 subscribers, I’m buying all my first readers a new car.
